When an album folder contains a cue-file, loading the folder within Windows Explorer into foobar in order to play back the files referenced in the cu-file isn’t the right solution. Now just select all the tracks (you can also select the whole album), right-click and choose “convert” / “…” from the dropdown menu. Foobar will open the cue file (and the corresponding flac file), and should show the single tracks then. To load the cue file go to: file / load file. If you load the output FLAC in foobar2000, it should show you the individual tracks. The cue sheet will be embedded in the output FLAC. Select the FLACs in the playlist, right-click, Convert choose FLAC as output format, output style needs to be “Generate multi-track files”. You can right-click on any of them and go to Utilities > Edit cuesheet in order to see what foobar2000 generated. How to get the cue sheet from foobar2000?
